Richard Temore was a 23rd century Human man, an acknowledged leader in the fields of zoology and paleontology who taught at Starfleet Academy.
Biography[]
Temore earned a Ph.D. in paleontology from the University of Bombay. He was also an authority on small equipment systems operation, ecology, and administration. He was a highly-skilled marksman when using phaser rifles and tranquilizer darts. He had professional-level training in botany, genetics, physics, and the Vulcan language. He spoke Andorian and had basic familiarity with Klingonese. He could get overly focused in his work and become irritated when interrupted, yet he still engendered respect.
For years he served on several universities faculties. Then, in the mid-2270s decade, Professor Temore accepted a position at Starfleet Academy to teach zoology and paleontology.
After seven years as an instructor, in the early 2280s he accepted Starfleet's offer to direct the Green Biological Research Station on the tropical planet Green in the Kajzer system, a world full of living dinosaurs strikingly similar to extinct Earth species. He hoped to write a definitive treatise on the world's lifeforms.
Four years later, as of 2287, at 52 years of age he continued his efforts at the science outpost. (FASA RPG module: The Triangle)
