Richard Widmark (26 December 1914 - 24 March 2008) was an American actor who lived on Earth during the 20th and 21st centuries.

He played Colonel Jim Bowie in the 1960 film The Alamo, which depicted the Battle of the Alamo in 1836. When Julian Bashir and Miles O'Brien asked Vic Fontaine to participate in their Alamo holosuite program in 2374, Vic recalled that Widmark had been in the film version.
