Robert Burns (1759–1796) was a Human poet and a lyricist. He was widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland.

A celebration was held by Montgomery Scott on board the Enterprise to commemorate Robert Burns' birthday. At that celebration he served some haggis to Lieutenant Kevin Reilly.
