Robert Morgan was a 23rd century Human man who served in Starfleet as a flag officer.
Biography[]
By the 2260s, Morgan had risen to the rank of admiral.
In the 2260s, Morgan was in charge of a Starfleet task force that intercepted warships from Trieba III and prevented them from invading nearby systems, leading to dethroning that planet's monarch.
In the aftermath, Morgan was tasked with ensuring a peaceful transfer of world power to a new king. Local religion required a monarch by dawn or else there would be mass suicides, but conflicting factions could not agree upon his choice, Potohocan, or the priests' choice, Mahanigan. He suggested himself as a candidate and was soon coronated King of Trieba. His only decree was that he'd remain in power until another nomination could be confirmed. Three hours later, his "reign" ended, but priests still asked him to provide a sword and shield to be put on display next to those of previous monarchs. (TOS - FASA RPG short story: "Coronation Presumptuous")
Morgan and Grand Admiral Jennifer de la Noue orchestrated a Starfleet Marines combat field drill. Morgan led a marine regiment in breeching the outer bulkhead of the Phillidon. He managed to make his way to the bridge, but was shot in the back by Subgeneral Linda Waters before he could capture de la Noue. (TOS - FASA RPG short story: "Boarding Party")
