Robert the Bruce (July, 1274 - June, 1329) was a Human who lived in the late 13th and early 14th centuries on the planet Earth.

Biography[]

In the year 1306, he assumed the throne of Scotland, and thus became King Robert I. He ruled until his death in 1329. In the years following his death, Bruce would become a national hero to the people of Scotland.

In 2156, Captain Jonathan Archer recalled a movie in which William Wallace gave a speech espousing the virtues of Robert Bruce. (ENT novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing)

In 2269, when ordered to transport an Excalbian recreation of Abraham Lincoln, Montgomery Scott speculated that the USS Enterprise would next be visited by Robert the Bruce. Overhearing this, Captain James T. Kirk ordered that if that were the case appropriate honors would be rendered to Bruce as well. (TOS episode: "The Savage Curtain")
