Roberto Orci is a co-writer on the 2009 Star Trek film (with Alex Kurtzman). Along with Kurtzman, he also co-wrote the basic story behind the IDW Publishing tie-in miniseries Star Trek: Countdown and Star Trek: Nero, the latter partly based on deleted scenes from the movie.
