Roger Blacke was the pseudonym of a 23rd century Human man, a reformed criminal.

Biography[]

At one point, Blacke acted as a first contact man for a black market ring operated by the Waggajj Brothers at Kavaport on the Tellarite colony Galish IV. Officially known as a "financial consultant", Blacke judged whether potential clients were legitimate prospects to buy or sell. His preferred point of contact was Ggravvisht Tavern in Shadow Alley at the spaceport, where he employed the bouncer Faj Fajjistrab as a thug.

Blacke later joined the Dark Wave gang based near Orion territory, becoming a smuggler and pirate. After being apprehended, he flipped on his associates and testified against them in court.

By the late 2280s decade, he used the Blacke alias to published a best-selling, autobiographical novel of his adventures, Confessions of a Star Pirate. (FASA RPG module: Spacelanes: The Magazine of Interstellar Trade)
