Roger Sterling was a 23rd century Human man who lived on Sheridan's World.
Biography[]
Sterling was born in the early 2240s as a Federation citizen and gained professional-level training in animal genetics, using genetic engineering to improve livestock. He also became qualified in computer operation. (FASA RPG module: Conflict of Interests)
In the year 2268, on reference stardate 2/09, he was one of 200 who settled in the city of Continuity on the Human/Klingon colony of Sheridan's World. (FASA RPG modules: Conflict of Interests, Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update)
He served on the colony's support staff. Among Human colonists, he was the third smartest, and had one of the highest psi quotients.
In 2283, when he was 40 years old, each citizen's vote was taken to decide its future. Sterling supported the continued neutrality of Sheridan's World, although if forced to choose an alliance he was more likely to desire the colony go under Federation control rather than join the Klingon Empire.
