Rojas was a 23rd century Human man. He served in Starfleet as a security guard aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise in the 2260s under the command of Captain James T. Kirk.
History[]
In 2267, Rojas joined a landing party to survey the unexplored planet Hydra Epsilon III. He split up with Yeoman Vonda Figgs to scan for lifeforms and minerals. They were lured by the hypnotic scent of a Hydra Epsilon III flytrap, with Rojas becoming so enticed by the aroma of pork chops that he started eating the plant's berries. Hinged leaves enveloped him, drenched him with a thick digestive acid, then retracted beneath murky swamp water, where he died quickly.
