Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Rol-shaya was a grip in the Vulcan martial art V'Shan, in which the forearm is held against an opponent's neck, in a potentially fatal manner.

Dar Ableen, an ahn-was in the V'Shan, was proficient in the use of the rol-shaya grip, and used it to threaten the life of Izar Peace Officer Christine Vale in 2366. (SCE eBook: Security)

It might be assumed that this grip bears some similarity to the tal-shaya technique.
