For other uses, see Rollins.

Rollins was a 24th century Human male, a Starfleet officer who served aboard the USS Voyager in the 2370s.

History Edit

In 2371, Ensign Rollins served as tactical officer on the bridge, in place of Lieutenant Tuvok, when Voyager departed Deep Space 9 for the Badlands. After Voyager was swept into the Delta Quadrant, Rollins served as temporary flight controller until Tom Paris was assigned the job. (VOY episode & novelization: Caretaker)

Rollins had a brother named Emmett who attended a one-year anniversary gathering on Deep Space 9 with other family members of Voyager's crew. (VOY - Distant Shores short story: "Letting Go")

By mid-2372, Rollins had been promoted to the rank of lieutenant and served as Paris's immediate superior. (VOY episode: "Dreadnought")

Shortly after, Rollins served at the tactical station on the bridge while Lieutenant Tuvok was leading an away team trapped on the surface of a planet occupied by the Kazon-Vistik. (VOY novel: Mosaic)

At the beginning of 2375 on Voyager, Captain Kathryn Janeway was in a coma and Harry Kim and Tom Paris were both missing and presumed dead. Now acting-captain Chakotay reorganized the senior staff and with Tuvok taking over the position of first officer, Rollins was given Tuvok's old position as tactical officer. (VOY - String Theory novel: Evolution)
