This type of Romulan bird-of-prey was in service to the Romulan Star Empire in the mid-22nd century. Operating in the Imperial Fleet with its larger contemporary, this class of bird-of-prey served as combatant vessels during the Earth-Romulan War in the late-2150s.

Like other Romulan birds-of-prey, this type featured long wing-like nacelle pylons that supported a pair of slender warp nacelles, and was painted with a stylised bird-of-prey on its ventral hull.
The leading edge of its primary hull contained a twin weapons port, while beam arrays were mounted on the dorsal hull.
History[]
At least one ship of this type fought against three Earth Starfleet Daedalus-class starships, and succeeded in destroying the USS Archon's port warp nacelle. (ST reference: Ships of the Line 2015)
