Ronald Wilson Reagan (6 February 1911 - 5 June 2004) was a male Human political leader who lived on Earth during the 20th and 21st centuries.

Biography[]

From 1981 to 1989, he served as the 40th President of the United States, rising to that position during the height of the Earth Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union and their respective allies. Prior to his political career, he was a Hollywood film and television actor.

Early in his presidency, Reagan proposed a comprehensive space-based defense program, designated the Strategic Defense Initiative, or SDI, which would provide a missile defense shield against Soviet nuclear weaponry. Gary Seven was somewhat skeptical of this program, noting that he took no pleasure in seeing human conflicts being carried out in space.

In 1984, he ran successfully for re-election as US President, defeating Walter Mondale.

When Mikhail Gorbachev became General Secretary of the Soviet Union, Reagan publicly supported the man's policies of reform for the communist nation. The two world leaders eventually formed a successful diplomatic relationship, which would eventually lead to the end of hostilities between the two nations. Nonetheless, Reagan staunchly refused to agree to Gorbechev's request for the United States to abandon the SDI project, a request which the General Secretary made in one of their earliest diplomatic conferences, which was held in Reykjavik, Iceland in December 1986. During this conference, Roberta Lincoln prevented an attempt on Reagan's life when she discovered that a cup of jelly beans brought to the President was poisoned. (TOS - The Eugenics Wars novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)

In 2154, Captain Jonathan Archer and Daniels saw an image of President Reagan taking the Presidential oath of office in the time stream as the timeline reset itself. (ENT episode: "Storm Front")
