Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Rory Williams was a human of the 21st century, a traveling companion of the Time Lord known as the Doctor, and the husband of Amy Pond. He was formerly a nurse and once served as a Roman centurion.

In ancient Egypt, Rory and his wife accompanied the Doctor in an attempt to track down and recapture an escaped alien criminal who had been posing as vizier to the Pharaoh. Remembering his time as a Roman centurion, Rory was able to drive a chariot while being pursued by Egyptian soldiers. Immediately following this adventure, Rory and the others found themselves aboard the USS Enterprise in 2368, after the Doctor's TARDIS accidentally landed on the ship's holodeck in the midst of a 1940s San Francisco program. (TNG - Assimilation² comic: "Issue 1")

There they met Commander William Riker, Doctor Beverly Crusher and the android Lieutenant Commander Data. After being mistaken for malfunctioning holographic simulations, the Doctor, Rory and Amy were revealed as real and taken to meet Captain Jean-Luc Picard, for introductions and to discuss the strange arrival. Rory and Amy accompanied the Doctor. (TNG - Assimilation² comic: "Issue 2")

The Doctor and the crew of the Enterprise began investigating an allied BorgCyberman fleet attacking several worlds, and followed it to Cogen V. There, Rory, Amy and the Doctor accompanied Riker, Data and Lieutenant Worf down to investigate the aftermath of an assault there. Upon arrival, Rory saved Amy from an attack by Cogenian sentry drones; this made them almost equal for times they'd saved each other. (TNG - Assimilation² comic: "Issue 4")

While the Doctor attempted to convince Captain Jean-Luc Picard to agree to an alliance with the Borg to stop the Cybermen, Rory spoke with Beverly Crusher about advances in medical technology and the burden of being unable to save every patient before Picard agreed to an alliance. (TNG - Assimilation² comic: "Issue 5")

To ensure the Borg could be restored, the Doctor, Amy and Rory travelled back to the Battle of Wolf 359 and downloaded a copy of the Borg Executive Library from Cube 632. (TNG - Assimilation² comics: "Issue 6", "Issue 7")

When the group boarded the Cyberman flagship, Amy and Rory - despite the Doctor's protest against weapons - were provided with phasers by Worf. After the Cybermen had been defeated, the Conduit attempted to assimilate the TARDIS. After the ship's consciousness briefly uploaded itself into Data, Rory opened the doors to the time vortex, allowing Worf to eject the Borg from the ship. In the aftermath, the Doctor, Amy and Rory returned to their universe. (TNG - Assimilation² comic: "Issue 8")
