Lieutenant Ross Johnson (also known as Rusty Johnson) was a security officer aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise.
Biography[]
In 2266, Johnson was a member of the landing party which transported to Metamorpha. (TOS comic: "The Peril of Planet Quick Change")
In 2267, Johnson joined Lieutenant Bill Hadley in a search for General Kellen. (TOS novel: First Strike)
In 2268, Johnson fought the Klingons of the IKS Klolode while under the influence of (*). (TOS episode: "Day of the Dove")
In 2269, Johnson was shrunken by exposure to spiroid epsilon radiation while orbiting Terratin along with the rest of the Enterprise personnel. When the crew had been reduced to a height of about three inches tall, Captain James T. Kirk needed to beam down. When Montgomery Scott gave the word, Johnson and engineers Massachi and Nikkatsu heaved as hard as they could on cables connected to the transporter controls, and were successful at beaming Kirk down.
