The Ross-class was a type of Federation starship in Starfleet service, a 25th century cruiser subclass based on the Galaxy-class design. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

Service history and specifications[]

The Ross-class was introduced with the launch of the USS Ross (NX-76710) in 2381. (STO website: Legacy : The Legendary Command Exploration Cruiser; Star Trek Adventures module: Utopia Planitia Sourcebook)

Ross class 2401 — The *Yi Sun-sin* in 2401.

In 2401, the USS Yi Sun-sin and the USS Vanguard were part of the Starfleet armada led by the USS Stargazer to investigate the Borg spatial anomaly discovered by the USS Avalon. When a massive Borg ship emerged, the Collective briefly seized control of all present ships. (PIC episode: "The Star Gazer")
