Roykirk School

Roykirk School was a 22nd century educational institution located on the planet Earth.

History and specifics[]

In the 2130s, the school hosted a six-week summer honors program for 30 students, ordinarily taught by Dr. Yelena Marinin.

Tenth grader Charles Tucker III attended the program in 2135 when he was 15 years old. That summer, the course was taught by Velik, the first Vulcan Tucker had ever met. He assigned students to devise and produce projects worthy of being submitted for the Cherenko-Cochrane Competition, a college- and post-graduate-level engineering contest. Tucker and Chris worked on a coolant system concept for Earth Starfleet's warp five engine. (ENT - Strange New Worlds VI short story: "Preconceptions")
