Rubicun III

Rubicun III was a Class M planet, the third planet of the Rubicun system, located in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

History and specifics[]

Rubicun III was the homeworld of the Edo, who were protected by their god.

In 2364, the USS Enterprise-D visited Rubicun III and made first contact with the Edo. (TNG episode: "Justice")

Alternate universes[]

In one permutation of the mirror universe in which the Terran Empire survived into the 24th century, the ISS Enterprise-D also visited Rubicun III. But in this mirror reality, Captain Jean-Luc Picard killed the Edo god and subjugated the Edo. (TNG novel: Dark Mirror)

In the novel, the planet is named "Rubicon III."
