Ruchi Padma was a 23rd century Human woman, a Starfleet yeoman assigned to the Federation starship USS Enterprise under the command of Captain James T. Kirk in the 2260s.
History[]
In 2267, Padma was on bridge duty and provided coffee to the bridge crew during the ship's approach to Merope IV.
Later, she was in engineering when the Meropean bio-mass sent a neural feedback pulse through the Enterprise's phaser banks. She was knocked unconscious, and when Montgomery Scott saw that her head was bleeding, he grew concerned that she may have been seriously injured. (TOS novel: Across the Universe)
