In the 2370s decade, English was assigned to Starbase 375 and was listed on a directory as having an office in room 14-5155. (DS9 reference: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manual)

In the year 2374, a casualty report filed by the starships USS Cochrane and USS Wyoming, as well as reports from Starbase 129 and Starbase 153 all noted that Lieutenant English had been wounded in action. An additional report from USS Repulse noted he had been killed. (DS9 episode: "In the Pale Moonlight")
