The Russth were a humanoid reptilian species native to Gornar in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant Tau Lacertae star system, one of several Gorn species to evolve on this planet. They were the one of the most commonly encountered representatives of the isolationist Gorn Hegemony, second only to the Ssessekh. (Adventures RPG module: Beta Quadrant Sourcebook)

History[]

In the mirror universe, a Russth Gorn named Slar was a slave master working for the Tholian Assembly. He was in charge of the workers assigned aboard the USS Defiant until the crew of the ISS Enterprise took it over in 2155. Slar was seen as suspicious of Terrans and vicious when it came to dealing with them. He was ultimately killed by Jonathan Archer. (ENT episode: "In a Mirror, Darkly")
