Bridge over Ryerson River.

Bridge over Ryerson River.

Ryerson River was a river that flowed through McQuade County, Florida on Earth near McKinley Rocket Base and the Atlantic Ocean.

History and specifics[]

A bridge for Route 949 crossed the river shortly before the first of three exits to the rocket base.

In the year 1968, Aegis agents Smith and Jones were killed by a truck that rammed into their car, forcing it to explode against the bridge's support structure. The McQuade County Sheriff determined the incident to be an accident due to hypnotic tampering by Counter Strike.

In 1971, Gary Seven and Roberta Lincoln followed the agents' route using a level-9 bioscan and saw a replay of the crash against the bridge by the river. Obviously not an accident, Seven and Lincoln proceeded to the sheriff's office to investigate further. (TOS - Assignment: Earth comic: "We Have Met the Enemy...")
