Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Rynar, father of Kor was a male QuchHa' Klingon in the 23rd century. He was leader of the House of Mur'Eq, and could trace his ancestry back to Emperor Mur'Eq.

Rynar was an officer in the Klingon Defense Force, and would wear his uniform even while off duty in order to receive proper respect from HemQuch. Rynar had at least one son, named Kor. Rynar often took his son, whom he named Kor after his own father, to the Hall of Warriors on Ty'Gokor, and encouraged him to believe he could accomplish great feats despite his genetic handicap. (TOS short story: "The Unhappy Ones")

Rynar's name was first mentioned in the DS9 episode: "Once More Unto the Breach". He is depicted as a HemQuch Klingon in Aftermath, Issue 1.
