The SS Carpathia was a 23rd century Federation Merchant Marine starship in service in the 2280s.
Service history[]
By 2286, Carpathia was under the command of Captain L.J. Silver.
In 2286, Carpathia was carrying a load of tribbles and hoped to offload them on Argelius II. After learning that the SS Astral Queen had recently sold large numbers of them there, Silver opted to try a different destination. The subspace communication between Carpathia and Astral Queen had a chance of being picked up by the USS Niwen. (FASA RPG module: Where Has All the Glory Gone?)
