Lakul at Earth.

At some point in the 23rd century, the Lakul visited Earth. (The Official Starships Collection Issue 162: "SS Lakul")

In 2293, the El-Aurian transports Lakul and Robert Fox were transporting refugees to Earth when both ships were caught in an energy ribbon, the Nexus. they dispatched a distress call, which was answered by the newly-launched Federation flagship USS Enterprise-B. The Excelsior-class starship was not fully equipped, and the Robert Fox detonated before aid could be rendered. Captain Montgomery Scott was able to beam 47 El-Aurians aboard, out of 150, before the Lakul was destroyed by the Nexus as well. (TNG movie: Star Trek Generations)

Among the El-Aurians rescued from the Lakul were Guinan, Tolian Soran, and Yuriel Tyvan. Tyvan went on to become a counselor aboard the USS Enterprise-C.
