Ssleen was a planet located in Federation space near the Twilight Nebula in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants. It was a colony of the interplanetary reptilian RRissith civilization. (FASA RPG module: Trader Captains and Merchant Princes, 1st edition)
History and specifics[]
Though within Federation territory, it was about a parsec from the Klingon border and about three parsecs from the nebula. It was located in a star system on the outskirts of the Twilight Nebula sector within the Organian Treaty Zone.
In the 23rd century, Klingons provided transports for the RRissith to colonize SSleen. Its colonists were made up of dissent political minorities on RRiss, however, and Klingons kindled the fires of a rebel movement, part of a plot to incite civil war and eventually Klingon occupation of both worlds.
