Sally Archer was the wife of Henry Archer, and the mother of noted Starfleet captain, and Federation President, Jonathan Archer. (ENT episode: "In a Mirror, Darkly" )
When Jonathan could not get sleep during his childhood, his mother would often recite The Song of the Wandering Aengus. He did not learn that it was a poem by W. B. Yeats until he was much older. Before they left for San Francisco, Sally made sure that Jonathan took their family's dog, Maska with him when he went to Nacacijin Gorge. Following the death of Henry due to Clarke's Disease, Sally had to raise a twelve year old Jonathan by herself. (ENT episode: "Rogue Planet"; ENT - Waypoint comic: "The Fragile Beauty of Loyalty")
