In a version of the mirror universe, Salok was a Vulcan student of the Kolinahr.
He began his training as a Kolinahr adept in the year 2276. During a ceremony in the Hall of Ancient Thought, he was recruited into the Vulcan Resistance by a high priest of the Kolinahr. (TOS novel: The Sorrows of Empire)
