An article in the Herald.
The San Francisco Herald was a fictional daily newspaper published in the literature of Dixon Hill for the Earth city of San Francisco.
History and specifics[]
The Herald was sold at Joe's newspaper stand along with the San Francisco Globe and San Francisco Sun in The Big Good-Bye. In one 1941 edition, on page 3 the Herald reported on the murder of Jessica Bradley, whom Dix had met a few days earlier in his office. The front page banner headline for that edition was "Hitler on the Move".
While roleplaying as Dix on the holodeck in 2364, Captain Jean-Luc Picard skimmed that edition at Joe's newsstand. (TNG episode: "The Big Goodbye")
Appendices[]
Background[]
