San Francisco National Cemetery was located in the Presidio of San Francisco, California, adjacent to the grounds of Starfleet Medical College. It was established in 1884.

In 2255, in the Kelvin timeline, James T. Kirk was led through the maintenance culverts of the Presidio and into National Cemetery by the Gemini Project neural agent with which T'Laya had infected him. He was found in the cemetery by Lieutenant Samarra Caan of Starfleet Intelligence, who stunned him with her phaser. (TOS - Starfleet Academy novel: The Gemini Agent)
