The Sangdor Principality was an interstellar political entity controlled by the Sangdor species in the the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

In the late 2270s decade, the Sangdor Principality annexed some Federation territory, leading to hostility that some described as a state of war. A demarcation zone separated Federation space and contested territory claimed by the Sangdor.

In the year 2279, Admiral Yaramoto assigned the Starfleet starship USS Enterprise to a sensitive mission in the Sangdor Principality, delivering two Diplomatic Courier Corps courier clone diplomats to the region with a sensitive peace message for its leadership. The starship was met at the border by a Sangdor picket ship, which accepted the message and departed to report back to superiors. Vice-Admiral James T. Kirk was hopeful that a peace treaty might be established within the month. (TOS comic: "Send in the Clones")
