- As Madza Bral, a Trill, was the first President not to be one of the four founding members, Sardix must have been Human, Vulcan, Tellarite, or Andorian. His term of office must have begun in 2197 if he was elected in 2196. The year of his election and the year that Archer left office establishes Sardix as serving following a president who would have served only a single term.
