Sarish Minna

Sarish Minna was a female Bajoran active as an officer in the Federation Starfleet in the early 25th century. (STO episode: "Cardassian Struggle")

Biography[]

In 2409 Sarish held the rank of commander and was stationed on Deep Space 9, officially as operations officer. Unofficially, she was also effectively liaison officer to the Bajoran Militia and Vedek Assembly. (STO episode: "Cardassian Struggle")

Sarish acts as quest giver for the "Cardassian Struggle" story arc until "The 2800" following the late 2015 revamp, released just prior to Season 11: New Dawn. She replaces DS9 CO Captain James Kurland in the role.

Sarish twice commanded USS Defiant on rapid-response to assist an allied starship trying to recover the Orb of Possibilities from the True Way's Gul Kardek and deliver it to the Bajoran temple in Hathon. (STO - Cardassian Struggle missions: "Spoils of War", "Jabberwocky")

Sarish's uniform appears to violate the uniform code for early 25th century Starfleet. Given her post of operations officer, she should be wearing yellow, but is instead garbed in the red uniform of a tactical or security officer.
