Datafile for "Satan's Robot Conquers the World".

"Satan's Robot Conquers the World" is a 20th century story, the final chapter in the fictional sci-fi serial The Adventures of Captain Proton. (VOY episode: "Night")

Description[]

Satan's Robot STE

Satan's Robot.

Dr. Chaotica has unleashed his most diabolical invention yet, Satan's Robot. The robot has no trouble subduing mankind with its amazing computer powers, but can it defeat Captain Proton? (VOY video game: Elite Force)

History and specifics[]

In the story, Chaotica captured Captain Proton's rocket ship and tied up Constance Goodheart and Buster Kincaid. Chaotica gave Earth one hour to surrender or suffer the same fate as his slaves on the planet Mercury. Captain Proton miraculously escaped from an erupting volcano and arrived to help rescue his friends. But a self destruct had been triggered, and the ship was doomed to explode.

In the year 2375, Tom Paris and Harry Kim reenacted this chapter on USS Voyager's holodeck. During the hero's confrontation with Dr. Chaotica, The Doctor interrupted them, as they'd gone over their reserved holodeck time. (VOY episode: "Night")

Paris included the story in a list of favorite Captain Proton episodes, which he kept on a PADD. He listed it by both its full title and by its initials, "SRCTW". (VOY video game: Elite Force)
