Satera III

Satera III was a planet, a class M world located less than 10 light years away from Minos Korva in the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant, in the borders of 24th century Cardassian Union space. This was the third planet in orbit of the Satera star system.

History and specifics[]

Originally mislabeled on star maps as a class T gas giant by the Cardassians, the planet was discovered to be not only capable of supporting life but also to house a Cardassian labor camp and a secret outpost facility after the Occupation of Bajor ended.

Since Minos Korva is less than 10 light years away from Satera, outside of the Union's territory, the existence of this secret outpost was theorized to be the reason for the annexation attempt on Minos Korva conducted by the Cardassian military in 2369. (TNG novel: Pliable Truths)
