Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Sealon was a pelagic planet in the Trellisane-Sealon system, located in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants in the no-man's land between the Federation, Organian Treaty Zone and Romulan Neutral Zone. It was the homeworld of the interplanetary Sealon species.

Specifics[]

Sealon was nearly completely covered by water, with only a few small land masses. It was larger and further out from its primary star than its neighboring world Trellisane. It had plant and animal life.

History and specifics[]

By the 23rd century, the warlike natives had aggregated into city-states located in shallow waters, and had been unified under King Pongol. Trellisanians had traveled there, advancing Sealon development technologically to the point of having subspace radio and interplanetary spaceflight.

In 2269, Sealons killed the Trellisanians on the planet and invited Klingons to their world. After invading Trellisane, King Matabele realized a Klingon alliance was a mistake, and had their Klingon allies drowned. Eventually Sealon and Trellisane became trading partners and allies.
