Sector 009

Sector 9 (or sector 009) was a sector of space under the control of the United Federation of Planets.

History and specifics[]

Pollox, Upsilon Xi, and space station Levitz-5 were in Sector 9, at least according to Nyota Uhura. (TOS reference: Star Trek II Biographies)

In the 2260s, Admiral Westervliet Komack was the Starfleet Command flag officer in charge of operations in Sector 9. (TOS episode: "Amok Time"; TOS - Crucible novel: The Fire and the Rose)

The USS Courage was assigned to patrol Sector 009 in the aftermath of the Borg Invasion of 2381. (TNG novel: Losing the Peace)
