The Sector 303 was a region of space, a sector in the galaxy's Gamma Quadrant, and located in Dominion space. It was the site of a Dominion cloning facility. (ST video game: Armada mission: "Resurrection")
Naming[]
Sector 303 was the Borg desgination for this area of space. (ST video game: Armada mission: "Resurrection")
Location[]
Sector 303 was located in the Gamma Quadrant, potentially in the general direction of the Delta Quadrant. When the Borg aimed for a cloning facility closest to Unimatrix 001, Sector 303 was determined to fulfill that requirement. (ST video game: Armada mission: "Resurrection")
History[]
Around stardate 53550 in the year 2376, the Hive mind determined that a special agent was needed to acquire the Omega molecule found in the Alpha Quadrant, after previous attempts had failed. For that purpose, the Collective dispatched a task force to Sector 303, where the cloning facility closest to Unimatrix 001 could be foumd. The task force established a base with various facilities and shipyards, and fended off attacking Jem'Hadar attack ships. Borg ships began to scour the sector, navigating between radioactie and Mutara-class nebulae to assimilate and destroye attack fighters and Jem'Hadar battleships. After whittling down the Dominion defenses, the Collective assimilated the Dominion cloning facility.
The facility was then used to access a database and clone Starfleet captain Jean-Luc Picard. The newly assimilated Borg drone was designated Locutus of Borg. A Borg cube moved from the Borg's base to the cloning facility and was upgraded into Locutus's cube, serving as the flagship of the Collective. When all remaining Jem'Hadar ships and stations had been either assimilated or destroyed, Locutus departed the Gamma Quadrant. (ST video game: Armada mission: "Resurrection")
Locations[]
The Dominion had established a collection of stations forming a base, centered around the Dominion cloning facility, and two outposts with their own Dominion shipyards. All shipyards in the sector were named Station Alpha. Nebulae separated the bases from each other. One Jem'Hadar battleship was left derelict near a radioactive nebula. Other types of nebulae included Mutara-class and cerulean nebula. Dilithium moons and asteroid belts studded the area. A red M class star was situated in the sector, but no planets within the area scoured by the Borg. (ST video game: Armada mission: "Resurrection")
