Selcundi Drema sector

The Selcundi Drema sector (also referred to as the Selcundi Drema quadrant), contains at least one star system with five planets. The planet Drema IV is the home world of Starfleet doctor Sarjenka and had dilithium deposits that were strangely distributed. (TNG episode: "Pen Pals"; SCE eBook: Progress; TNG novel: Q & A)

History and specifics[]

Circa 2215, one of the planets, which was unstable, was destroyed and became an asteroid belt. (ST website: StarTrek.com)

In 2365, the Selcundi Drema sector was surveyed by the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG episode: "Pen Pals")

In an alternate reality, the sector was surveyed by the US Enterprise. (TNG novel: Q & A)

In 2369, the Selcundi Drema sector was visited by the USS Progress. (SCE eBook: Progress)

Progress erroneously gives the location's name as the Selcundi Drema system, but all other sources give it as the Selcundi Drema sector.
