A senior centurion was a high rank present within the Romulan military. (TOS novel: My Enemy, My Ally)
Enarrain was a Romulan word meaning "senior centurion"; Colonel of infantry, Commodore of Fleet forces. Minimum rank at which the officer may command more than his own vessel. (TOS novel: The Romulan Way)
- It is highly likely that this was actually a typo or mistake in the novel. (The exact text is also used for khre'Riov) There are several Enarrians reporting to other Romulans at the rank of erei'Riov. Its more likely this rank is intended to be just about Centurion, below Subcommander.
