Sentera V was a planet located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, the fifth planet in orbit of the Sentera star system.

History and specifics[]

Researchers from the United Federation of Planets discovered a lifeform on Sentera V at some point prior to the year 2269, a form of life that existed on sponge-rock colonies. The discovery on Sentera V was a breakthrough. Spock considered that if he and Katalya Tremain could unlock the secrets of the possibility of intelligence on Arachnae, it would be a milestone of science similar to the findings on Sentera V. (TOS novel: Vulcan!)

It was not alluded to whether this was a Federation world, or if it was a planet outside of Federation space.
