Sestok served aboard the USS Starbound circa 2359, which was on a training cruise for Starfleet Academy graduates. Security Chief Darryl Adin had Sestok reprogram the ship's computer because it beat him at chess, alleging that a previous crewmember had programmed it to cheat. (TNG novel: Survivors)
