Settie Lar was a Bajoran officer who was assigned to Deep Space 9 in 2370.
In this year, Lar was contacted by a Seltari woman named Maura, who offered to pay him 100 bars of gold-pressed latinum in return for a storage area below Quark's which would be shielded from sensors. Lar was able to fulfill Maura's request and showed her the area, but he was murdered by her before he received his payment. (DS9 comic: "Hearts and Minds - Prelude")
