"Seven > Seven" was the first Star Trek: Voyager short story published in Star Trek: Explorer. Written by Greg Cox and edited by Jonathan Wilkins, it was published in April 2022 in Explorer, Issue 2. The story was collected in the Q and False and Other Stories omnibus in December 2022.

Background[]

The short story took place not long after Seven was held hostage by the Hirogen at a Hirogen relay station in VOY episode: "Hunters". Seven thought such an event would never have happened had she remained a Borg.
