Seylok was a Romulan man and a member of the Tal Shiar.
In 2373, Tomalak gave Seylok the rank of centurion and a posting in the Romulan fleet. Seylok's mission was to find the artificial quantum singularity that had been released into the Badlands a century earlier and use it to collapse the Bajoran wormhole. To do this, Seylok was given command of the scout ship Bokra. (DS9 novel: The Badlands, Part IV)
