Shar's family

Shar's family refers to the Andorian ancestors, descendants, and relatives of Thirishar ch'Thane. While his family had strong roots- his zhavey was a Federation Councillor and his zh'yi came from a prominent family on Andor- it was ultimately torn apart by tragedy. His bondgroup was strained after the suicide of Thriss, who Shar was especially close to. His family recovered, eventually brought Thia in to fill the void, and conceived a child. This happiness was short lived unfortunately, as Shar's entire bondgroup were casualties of the Borg Invasion of 2381, leaving him the sole survivor.

Tavrithinn th'Cheen, a Starfleet lieutenant who served as tactical officer on the USS Vol'Rala in the 22nd century and was a member of the Clan of Cheen. As such, he was a direct or indirect ancestor of Shathrissia zh'Cheen.
- Shathrissia zh'Cheen, also known as Thriss, was the zhei of famed Andorian artist Sessethantis zh'Cheen, descendant of Tavrithinn th'Cheen, and member of Shar's shelthreth group who killed herself due to depression caused by Shar's long term mission to the Gamma Quadrant.
- Thirishar ch'Thane, also known as Shar, was the chei of the shelthreth group that included Charivretha zh'Thane- an Andorian representative to the Federation Council, and Zherathrizar. Shar served as the science officer of the USS Tamberlaine, later served aboard Deep Space 9, before becoming involved in finding a solution to the reproductive crisis affecting his people.
- Thavanichent th'Dani, also known as Anichent, was a member of Shar's shelthreth group who was killed when his transport was destroyed by a Borg cube during the Borg Invasion of 2381.
- Vindizhei sh'Rraazh, also known as Dizhei, was a member of Shar's shelthreth group who was killed when her transport was destroyed by a Borg cube during the Borg Invasion of 2381.
- Arenthialeh zh'Vazdi, also known as Thia, was a member of Shar's shelthreth group who replaced Shathrissia in the bondgroup after her suicide years prior. She was killed when her transport was destroyed by a Borg cube during the Borg Invasion of 2381.
  - Thiarelata ch'Vazdi, was the chei of Shar, Anichent, Dizhei, and Thia who was killed with three of his parents when his transport was destroyed by a Borg cube during the Borg Invasion of 2381.
