Lieutenant Shelly Hutchinson was a human woman, a Starfleet security officer who was serving aboard the USS Titan by 2381. She was noted to be trim of build with short brown hair.

Biography[]

During the Borg Invasion of 2381, Hutchinson and fellow security personnel were temporarily reassigned to the USS Aventine as it attacked and captured a scout craft in an attempt to capture its vinculum. Hutchinson was assigned to the security squad under Pava Ek'Noor sh'Aqabaa, and they came under fire almost immediately once aboard. Hutchinson and Rriarr paired off to scout side corridors; Hutchinson silently stripped Rriarr of useful equipment after she died at the hands of the Borg. However, their entire squad was felled by friendly fire mistakenly initiated by Lonnoc Kedair.

sh'Aqabaa, Hutchinson, Tane, and Doron were able to be transported back to the Titan's Sickbay; Hutchinson was operated on by Doctor Ilar Prem, but died on the biobed. Her death was announced as 1307 Hours by Doctor Nexa Ko Tor and recorded by Nurse L'Kem. (ST - Destiny novel: Lost Souls)
