Shelm.
Shelm was a 23rd century Datugad native man, the leader of the planet Datugad's Essejjian religion movement in the 2280s decade.
In the year 2288, Shelm organized the taking of hostages when a Federation medical team arrived on Datugad to coordinate sampling of spermatozoa and eggs for the proposed re-seeding of the Datugad race on another planet. (TOS comic: "So Near the Touch")
