The Shuttle 06 was a 24th century Federation small craft, a Protostar-type shuttlecraft in Starfleet service in the 2380s decade. In the year 2384, the designation "Shuttle 06" was assigned to the Protostar-class starship USS Protostar. (PRD episode: "Supernova")
Service history and disposition[]
Auxiliary vessels aboard the USS Protostar were manufactured on demand by a vehicle replicator. In 2383, Gwyndala instructed the ship's computer to prepare a shuttle. This Shuttle 06 was left incomplete. (PRD episode: "Starstruck")
Soon after, Gwyn's Shuttle 06 was lost on Murder Planet. (PRD episode: "Terror Firma")
In 2384, the Protostar crew had manufactured a new Shuttle 06. The crew, minus Hologram Janeway, escaped aboard Shuttle 06 before Janeway sacrificed herself and the Protostar to stop the Living Construct from destroying Starfleet. (PRD episode: "Supernova")
The survivors - Dal R'El, Gwyn, Rok-Tahk, Jankom Pog, Murf and Zero - had to remain on the shuttle for a month before its warp drive failed in the vicinity of a class J gas giant planet. (PRD novel: Escape Route)
The shuttle landed in the waters at Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco on Earth, where the crew was greeted by Starfleet shuttles assigned to the NCC-74656-A. (PRD episode: "Supernova")
