Sicon was an F-type main sequence white star with an associated system located in Federation space near the edge of the Sicondor Sector in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics[]
Three planets orbited Sicon within its habitation zone, with the third planet being class M. An asteroid belt contained debris believed to have been from a fourth planet.
Early in the 23rd century, the sleeper ship Terrapin visited Sicon, with Danurians colonizing Sicon III. Shortly after, a Klingon scout explored Sicon.
23rd century Federation scouts did not detect sentient life at Sicon, perhaps due to interference from sensor-interfering eridennium deposits on its planets. The Federation claimed it as a Federation protectorate, but in 2267 the Organian Peace Treaty dictated that the Federation would have to establish colonies there to avoid it from becoming a Klingon holding. In 2269, the USS Yorktown under Captain Evan Foster visited Sicon to aid Federation efforts to colonize the third planet. (Last Unicorn RPG module: The Danurian Factor)
